Today I wanna share some of my 2 cents knowledge about electrical stuff. Some of us doesn't know how to calculate the power of a motor. Firstly, before we calculate, we should know the rating or the spec of the motor. The value u should have to calculate the power rating is 'Rated voltage', 'Current' and 'motor efficiency'.
By using the formula P=VI.
The formula for the power of the motor input is P=VI and
The formula for the power of the motor output is P=VI * 'Motor Efficiency'
To convert Horsepower(HP) to kW, just multiply the HP value to 0.746kW.
